ANTIFOULING SILIC ONE

Fouling Release coating, based on silicone and biocide-free hydrogel, gives the surface water-like properties. This means that fouling organisms can no longer settle so easily on the hull and will quickly fall off as soon as the boat is in motion. A silicone-based hydrogel microlayer provides a smooth, repellent coating with reduced surface energy that prevents organisms from adhering to the hull and propellers, while silicone polymers facilitate a self-cleaning effect. The hydrogel is based on unique, non-reactive polymers that are added to the paint and form an invisible protective layer between the hull surface and the water. Organisms that cause fouling perceive the hull as a liquid and are therefore much less likely to adhere. For fibreglass and steel boats for cold, temperate and warm water. Theoretical yield approx. 10 m² /l.
