AUTOPILOT COMPACT REACTOR 40

The most compact and reactive autopilot system ever, ideal for small and medium sized boats (1), reduction of deviation and course errors, and rudder movement with less electric consumption. Easy to install and very easy to calibrate. It integrates perfectly with the Garmin Marine system, also implementing the useful Auto Guidance 3.0 (2) function for automatic route calculation (requires BlueChart® g3 Vision® HD mapping).
Solid State 9-Axis AHRS Technology The state-of-the-art 9-axis solid state AHRS technology makes the system easy to install and easy to calibrate, minimizing errors in direction, deviation from routes, rudder movements and energy consumption, allowing those on board to navigate more comfortably.
Control the autopilot directly from the chartplotter: Fully interfaceable via the NMEA 2000 network, the new Reactor 40 autopilot can be controlled from the compatible Garmin Marine chartplotter display. It is possible to enjoy advanced features such as the new Auto Guidance 3.0 (2 for the automatic calculation of the best route and fast, simple and reliable navigation.
Garmin Shadow Drive ™ Using the unique Garmin Shadow Drive feature, you can temporarily disable the autopilot when you are working on the rudder, leaving the user free to maintain control of the boat in case the situation requires a quick maneuver or a emergency procedure. The autopilot is then reactivated automatically when a steady course is maintained.
Connection to devices on the network: The Compact Reactor 40 autopilot can be activated directly from the display of the compatible Garmin chartplotter (1) or from 3 GHC control units. GHC communicates with the autopilot system via the NMEA 2000® network, allowing simple sharing of autopilot direction data with other devices. This activates the MARPA function and map overlay when the device is connected to a Garmin radar and chartplotter. An optional portable wireless remote control is also available.
Compatible with the following Garmin Marine devices: echoMAP ™ CHIRP 52/72/92 series; ECHOMAP Plus 62/72/92 series; GPSMAP® 7400/8000/8400/8600 and 722/922/1022/1222 series.
